Cab Sauv

Longshadow Ranch Winery is another small Temecula winery. Very rustic in appearance and very friendly in nature. If you like horses and a relaxed atmosphere this is the place for you.

Two nights ago I decided to open a bottle of 2007 Longshadow Cabernet Sauvignon. It's a very nice wine. A beautiful ruby color, not entirely fruit forward, but also not very peppery. I find it to be very smooth and moderately dry.

It went very well with the penne with marinara and I am sure will be fabulous tonight with a nice steak.

If you are not a fan of red wine, I would highly recommend the White Feather Chardonay, it is absolutely wonderful!
